Yes, the title of this post ‘HALIFAX and TORONTO Wedding Photographer’ is correct.
Today was a big day for my wife and I. Aside from it being my birthday, we both quit our jobs so we can move from Burlington, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia, which means I am able to go from working part time on my photography to being able to devote more time and energy into my passion as a full time photographer!
This may come as a bit of a surprise to some, but it’s been in the works for a while now and we’re really excited to get acquainted with a new province, city and new people. I expect it to be a bit of a challenge to be essentially starting my business again without the referral base I have built up in Ontario, but it’s a challenge I’m ready for. I am a far better photographer and businessman than when I first began shooting weddings a few years ago, and that should help me hit the ground running. In fact, I have already booked one wedding in Halifax, and we’re still living in Ontario.
For those of you living in Ontario, don’t worry, I am going to continue photographing weddings in Ontario. It will be an excellent excuse to go visit with my parents and brothers and of course my little nephew. So feel free to contact me about your wedding in Ontario. For that matter, I’ll shoot a wedding just about anywhere, so if you’re getting married anywhere, be it Edmonton or England, I’d love to be a part of your day.
Since a blog post by a photographer just wouldn’t be complete without a photo, I’ve posted my favourite Nova Scotia photo, taken 2 years and 2 days ago at Peggy’s Cove. I’ll post some of my other favourites from Nova Scotia in the coming days.
I look forward to hearing from all you wonderful Nova Scotians!
